Atari Jaguar Pro-Controller !

The Jaguar Pro-Controller is compatible with all Jaguar titles, but it offers an improved ergonomic design and an extra 5 buttons, giving 23 total. The extra keys are a X,Y and Z keys, along with L and R "shoulder pads". The enhanced design of the AB and C keys is such that the controller supports "chording", pressing multiple keys at once. Many existing games support the Pro-Controller even though they do not mention it because the new keys map onto the numeric keypad keys. The Jaguar Pro-Controller is almost essential for some more complicated Jaguar games, most notably the Jaguar-CD game "Primal Rage".

Jaguar Team-Tap !

The Jaguar Team-Tap is a 4-Player joypad expansion controller for the Atari Jaguar. Up to 2 Team-Taps can be plugged into any Jaguar, offering the potential for 8-player action, although to date only 4-player games, using 1 team-tap, have been made available. Titles include "White Men Can't Jump", (with which Team-Tap was initially bundled), and NBA Jam TE.

Jag-Link 2-Player Network Kit !

The Jaguar has both high-speed synchronous and high-speed asynchronous serial ports as standard. Each Jag-Link kit includes TWO Jag-Link modules and an approximately 5 metre long phone-style cable to connect the two units. The units do not add functionality to the Jaguar, they protect the Jaguar ports from potential voltage damage, and add a convenient connection point for the cable. Jag-Link ONLY supports Jaguar-to-Jaguar communications, no more than two Jaguars can be networked. To network more than 2 Jaguars, use the Cat-Box from ICD, which supports the Cat-Net protocol.

Jag-CD Memory Track !

The Jag-CD Memory Track is a cartridge add-on for the Jag-CD unit. Fitting in the Jag-CD or Jaguar Combo cartridge slot it offers the Jaguar owner 128K of Flash-ROM backup for Jaguar CD games. The unit also includes a "File Manager" utility to manipulate back-up files. Absolutely essential as an add-on for the Jag-CD, many Jaguar games otherwise unbeatable.

Jag-CD MPEG Cartridge !

The Jag-CD MPEG cartridge is an optional extra for the Jag-CD, Jaguar Combo and Jaguar/2 machines. It plugs into the cartridge slot, and allows the Jaguar to decode and display full MPEG 1+2 video, enabling Jaguar owners to view video-CDs now increasingly widely available. The unit is a low cost extra every Jaguar owner will want.

Jaguar Voice-Modem !

The Jaguar voice modem is a high performance (V32terbo) DSP based modem, with many additional features and modes which make it particularly suitable for an interactive and consumer friendly game environment. It works with all Jaguar models, classic, combo and Jaguar/2, and is supported by a wide range of software, and the Atari Jaguar-VR headset.

Jag-VR Headset !

The Atari Jaguar VR headset was designed for Atari by Virtuality as a revolutionary low-cost, high-performance unit for the Jaguar family. Designed to retail for under $200, the VR headset requires extra supporting hardware for the Jaguar, and plugs into the expansion port. It offers 6-degress of freedom, meaning the user can move their head left and right, and up and down, as well as angling their head side to side. To prevent accidents the unit was designed to be used seated, and the user cannot move far from the Jaguar. Communication between the headset and Jaguar is maintained using infra-red sensors on the Jaguar VR controller add-on, and the VR helmet. A "trigger" controller is included, and is hand held. Software such as Missile Command 3D was originally written to support the unit by Virtuality, along with Jaguar versions of Virtuality arcade titles.

Atari "badged" Interactor Vest !

Atari have licensed the Aura Interactor VR vest. The strap-on unit, which relays impact sounds to the wearer by means of vibrations which can be controlled by a "power amplifier" unit is now official Jaguar wear to compliment the Atari Jaguar VR headset. Future Jaguar manuals will carry settings for each game and the Atari Jag-Wire site supplies settings for previous games right back to Cybermorph. A must-have add-on.

Jag-Store Drive!

The Jag-Store serves two purposes for all Jaguar owners. It is a fast 1.44Mb capacity 3.5" floppy disk drive which plugs interfaces to the Jaguar via the cartridge port, and offering a thru-connector for existing cartridges. It provides the Jaguar owner a means with which to back-up their CD-data just like a Memory Track (it is software compatible) and also allows save-games from the new generation of Jaguar RPG such as Towers III. It also allows game owners to take advantage of updates such as new WAD files for games such as Doom 2.
The Jag-Store has recently been used by "The Underground" to distribute "shareware" titles for the Jaguar by taking advantage of an undocumented "hook" in the ROM control software which is fitted in the interface module. Although Atari deny it, many sources believe that this hook was an inspired "back-door" method of increasing Jaguar support.
